An End to an Era

Nothing ever lasts forever.
This is why you should enjoy every minute of the things you love and enjoy.
Life is so Transitory.

We had a good run here. I don't believe there is another forum out there that even came close to being as unique as ours. Or that had as good of a time!!
The knowledge exchanged, the friends that were made, the fun we all had, no other forum ever came close to what we had.
As Mako always said; "The Best Friends I never met!"
I want to thank Jason for this Forum and all the members here for making this one of my life's most enjoyable experiences.
But like all things in life it is coming to an end.
I will not be moving on to the new Forum, it is an end to my era also.
All my friends here have my personal e-mail address to stay in touch with me if they wish to do so. If any other members that don't and want it to stay in touch, drop me a PM.
I wish Jason and Swords of Might all the Best and success in the future.
The new store site is great BTW!
I will always continue to buy all my swords from SOM and will also send all my friends and casual inquiries here.

God Bless you all my friends!!

I really hope this does not rub anyone the wrong way, but we are closing this forum. The reason why is because I feel like I can no longer participate the way I would like to.

Some good news though for those of you who would still like to chat on a forum. We are unveiling a brand new forum that will be hosted on the new swords of might site! While it is not quite as nice as this forum, I would like to invite all of you to join. I will keep you posted on its new whereabouts when the new site is up and running. Any questions, please let me know.

Been slow around here soooooo....
OK as any one here who knows me knows I not much for specs and technical stuff...I go by feel and appeal (which is why I do few reviews)...so this may be more of a impression than a review. I got this sword some time ago from my girl, and while I have always been more of a hack and slash kind of guy, as I get older I am starting to see the appeal to lighter quicker blades. The Pilsen is one of those swords and while light in my book it is no feather weight at 2lbs. 6oz. The blade has a presence there is no denying it, it's quite stiff but with just enough flex and comes to a needle point. The guard, pommel and grip are all nicely done with enough flash to catch the eye but not be over done. The scabbard is done in a pebble textured leather and the fittings have some nice decorative details...it comes in at just under 200.00 if you shop around and is worth it in my book...
So now to the specs...taken from the MRL listing
Overall: 44-3⁄4"
Blade: 36" long, 1" wide, 3⁄16" thick
Wt: 2 lbs/4 oz
sorry for the quality of the pics, all I have is my cell, which is another reason I dont do many reviews
