This is one of Akira Kurosawa's lesser known films, just finished watching it. Its about a civil worker who takes charge in his life when he finds that he has stomach cancer. This movies was great because it dealt with the concept of lonliness and self worth in such a straight forward but yet tastefull way. Great flick and i highly recommend it to everyone here.
