http://www.dynastyforge.com/index.php/Limited-and-Custom-Pieces/28.5-Bushi-1095-Hayashi-Custom-Katana/Detailed-product-flyer.html It is a Dynasty Forge Bushi Katana named Hayashi (Wood) that is an Aaron Justice (aka Justice Armories) Exclusive. I have been eying this one for a longtime, and I have tried every means I know of to get it, from calling DF and asking them if I can do a payment plan, to trying to get them to take a nonrefundable deposit of $400 to hold it till the first, but they wouldn't help me out. So I finally convinced my Mom to let me use some rainy day money I had her stash away for me, with the promise of returning it. DF is having a 4th of July discount which knocked $60 off the total so I wanted to take advantage of it while I could, plus I was worried that if I wait too much longer it would be sold and I would be ~X(. This sword looks to me like something a Ronin would have had during the 17th century, a little rough around the edges, but the blade is all business. I am so excited right now, not only is it IMO the best looking sword I have seen in a long time, but it is one of a kind, no one else has it, and it was done by one of the most respected guys in the business, Aaron Justice.

It was so relieving to be able to hit the checkout button on this katana, everything has been falling into place, my plan to take over the world cannot fail :flaming:, whoops I didn't say that :). But really things are turning around, since the disaster that was last week. I got a nice Dark Brown Sageo from Bugei to match the Ito, also picked up the Large Sword Chart and Japanese Family Crests Chart from Bugei http://www.bugei.com/subcategory_45_1.htm and I will have those framed for display. Now I just play the waiting game until the sword gets here, but that shouldnt take long since Aaron has it and he lives in California.

Yeah, hate works. I love the blades of my Df's. Hate the tsuka's, but love the blades. You should love this, good luck!

I have been reading up on my zodiac symbol which is the Horse http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse_(zodiac), and in the year I was born 1978, horse also carries the elemental symbol of earth, which may be why I felt such a connection with this sword, it has the horse theme and with the saya being bare wood and the colors scheme it has more of an earthy tone.

I have to admit that is one of the best looking swords I have seen in awhile. The koshirae is so tastefully done it has the appearance of antiquity. Great purchase!
