I saw it and I enjoyed it. I've heard some people that didn't like it but it's enjoyable.

Saw it. It was a fun movie if you don't take it too seriously. Some of the stunt situations are a little over the top but what the hell it's Indiana Frick'n Jones.

eh, the story was a bit over the top for Indiana, if they had changed what the skull was about I think it would have been better, also the parts with CGI animals should have been left out, they were just stupid. I grew up with Indiana Jones, I probably hold it to too high a standard, but for me this movie was a let down, I will stick with owning the trilogy

You know, I agree about the CGI stuff, all the movies have it, but it looks too hokey for me. I prefer the models they used in the old days, like the mid 70's that required real talent. same goes for Star Wars, I can't stand JarJar Binks (?).

The first part was a slam against Homeland Security as Lucas subtly compares the FBI during the Cold War to HS today, both looking like the nazi's they claim to fight.
Then after the political tirade fades, it settles down into the usual Indiana Jones movie that we all know and love.
#1 was snakes, #2 was bugs, #3 was rats and #4 is... ants?
The only thing I didn't like was that the first three films referred to occult and magickal/religious artifacts. This one referred to aliens.
Still, it's a good adventure film.

All I can say is HURRAY for the Saturday afternoon movie....rented it today and while I know many didn't like it, I did, it was a Indiana Jones movie plain and simple..the reason I never saw it at the theater was I was afraid it just wouldn't be..well a Indiana Jones movie. (as a side note the FBI of that period was far worse than the communists they were claiming to fight, it seemed more like a historical reference to me than any kind of slam against HS, no matter it's resemblance to the KGB )

ahhhh the old days........they're gone forever boyo! sort of reminded me of "Righteous Kill" with De Niro and Pacino......I love those guys, they're great actors, but hey, come on they're 700 years old fer Chrissakes!! a cop movie might not be the best career path for them these days........Harrison Ford, take a hint.....ok, now i'm gonna go down to the old folks home and wax the steps =))

I thought this one came closest to capturing the magic of the first one. Saw it in Lawrence, Tora.( the first one that is)

As a Old fart myself I thought that Harrison pulled it off pretty good, there really wasn't any point in the movie that I thought "no way he could do that" I think it was a good end point for the series but I thought that after last crusade too.
