Never felt the need to destroy something I paid good money for. Good thing the kids were not there to see how big of a bonehead dad was. Honestly I don't think I would put that video out there if I did that. Not covered under warranty.:-O

He's more of an idiot than you're crediting him.
Watch it closer the kids are still there. At 44 seconds you can see the boy's leg sitting in one of those canvas folding chairs at the far left. The camera moved more right after that but watch just before the he sets the broken point end of the sword down the bottom corner of the kid's coat arrives in view at the left frame.

Did y'all see where the blade went? Right between his legs and no injuries. How long does moron luck last?

Well, on the brighter side, maybe he can make a couple of knives out of the bits; and, now I know why I have never seen a Samurai attack a cow....too dangerous!

Well, it did do a nice job of hacking up the Paper cartons and plastic...I have fat-bladed sword that I actually hairline fractured because I was cutting and someone didn't get the memo so I had to release the sword, which the trajectory launched it straight into a tree...I was on the starting arc with a horizontal slash, so it flew straight forward..ugh...a perfectly good sword ruined.

what really grinds my gears is that, people like this not safely doing back yard cutting are part of the reason getting swords is so dam hard in some places. most recent the UK after they banned swords. i can guarantee you it was partially because of idiots screwing them selves up and others up doing stupid things like that, and now people who are safe can't get swords! ignorance is not actually bliss...

I was doing it safely, apparently someone decided to forget the memo and blunder in the way. I don't think anybody's ever gotten injured on my watch, nor broken a sword...we use stage steel for a lot of things cause we're a slightly more advanced division of Belegrath.
