Looking for a huge Nihonto Gallery

I have done a few searches but I have not found a good source of pictures of Japanese swords. Looking for a big gallery that has lots of koshirae pics for some ideas. You guys never cease to amaze me with the things you know or find. So please give me some ideas, Thanks.

Are you looking for just Nihonto Koshirae? There is a book called Lethal Elegance that has some great pictures and info about Koshirae http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0878466797 I have a copy, it is well worth the money

Not exactly Nihonto but there are 50 styles of tsukamaki here...

Great stuff Mako! I just found what I want to do to my Zato, The Kaifu Zuka,pic#8 and just carry on that pattern to the saya. Cause now I'll never make up my mind for my Katana Tsuka! But I've got it narrowed down to #3#4#15#18#27#31#34#42#45#47~X( !Thanks! I wonder if someone,like say, oh, I don't know, like Taygrd:-O! Could make a Kashira and kojiri out of copper for something like that.ie,The Zato.

Bobo that #8 would look good on the Zato, I will be getting #25 Jabara Maki on my Bushido set, here is a better pic

Brian, As soon as I saw that I knew it would be perfect. I'll sand the tsuka and saya down,tone down the color to match the rattan, Get some menuki, and I'm in business, But I think I need Kashira and Kojiri to really make it work.(in copper) As I look at the Jabara maki I notice that is made from cord, very cool!

yeah the Jabara takes 8 pieces of material, it is very hard to do, it uses special ito, or kangaroo lace
