I came across this link, it explains how to handle a sword, disassemble a sword and clean a sword. Click on the tab marked Etiquette, then you can either just click the video link or right click the video link and save as to save it to your computer.

I couldn't help but to watch the entire vid. This guy really knows a lot about Japanese swords! =D>

What I was curious to know though was how he popped the mekugi with his finger?? Or atleast it looked like he pushed it out with his finger... I didn't see him pick anything up, and he pushed it out so easily as if it was so loose it could fall out by shaking it!

one thing ill say is that the way he passed it in the saya was incorrect from a traditional standpoint. the tsuka is always flipped the the receivers right side and then you can take the 2 to 10 steps towards the person receiving the blade. he was right however about the direction of the blade though. all in all if all you wanted to do was sell and buy blades that was a pretty good clip.
