If you are a fan of classic horror all I can say is GO SEE THIS, this movie pays homage to one of the all time great horror films but with a updated plot and a twist. OK if you like blood and gore films this may be a bit subdued for you but for the first time in years there is a werewolf movie with a story, and a Wolfman who looks like a Wolfman should. Go see it, set back, eat your popcorn and feel what a horror movie is suposed to be like, (well at least for anyone over the age of thirty) Oh I almost forgot the acting was great, the look of the film was exceptional and now all that Anthony Hopkins has to do is be in a updated version of Frankenstein and he'll have the Triple Crown of horror.

Looks like a vast improvement on the old Lon Chaney Jr movie that scared the hell outta me when I was a kid.

In a lot of ways it is but not because it's vastly different but because they kept so much of the original and just tweaked it with today's tech.

It's gotta be good with Sir Anthony Hopkins in it...he was born and raised about 30 miles from here y'know. :>

....saw it, and I agree, a classic horror movie.....the dark sinister look and feel of the movie was just right and Benicio Del Toro was cast perfectly as the Wolf Man. Now you've got to go and see Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes.....same dark Victorian England look and feel to the movie.....owooooooooOOOO

Ok movie, nothing as interesting as the classics that had the "Wolfman" in them that demanded more on acting and less on sex, blood. and gore, all 3 are great behind closed doors but not great swallowing pop corn or trying to drink from the "monster" beverage cups. Another one, sorta worth the ticket, but I didnt see anthing to "rant and rave" over. Maybe i missed something during my nap.:detective:
