District 9

This movie was so amazing on every level. It has a great story as well as amazing effects and action scenes that are so real, you might be inclined to think it really happened. When I first seen the trailer, I thought it was going to be crap. If you like sci fi then do not miss this movie. If you don't like sci fi, still do not miss this movie.

It starts out to be a tale of discrimination against a new alien race, but ends up being an excellent tale of survival and action the likes of which I have never seen. The new director neil blomkamp is an excellent director in both the "live action shots" and the more naturalistic movie shots that most are used to. He really makes this a tale that is believable and very cool. I give it 5 stars!

I thought this movie was great and I was excited for it as soon as I first heard thigns about it, probably a year or so before it was released. My only real complaints is the main character got more annoying as the movie progressed which under the circumstances he's in I can't say i'd be any less frantic and annoying. And the leader of the military squad i thought survived a little too long haha.

Did anyone notice how the more evil someone was in the movie the more American they sounded?

IMHO District 9 is one of the greatest and most "emotionally wrenching" movies I have ever seen in me entire cinima going life, it was so brilliant that I left the cinima with teary eyes, Highly Recommended!!!!!
