I love the tsuka and its fuchigashira on that oni forge katana.
Have you added your ko-kat to this addition update?
Oh yeah, your signature is out of date Randy...lol. Shouldn't it now say "Proud leader of"...lol

James Raw is my guess.

As nice as the rawblade is I'm envious of the Oni Forge Katana. Very nice Morpheus! The tsuka follows the curve of the nakago...sweet. Too bad that particular sword is out of production now. Very nice indeed! KK =D>

Yes, the unmounted blade is from James Raw. I have been quoted $800 to $1400 to mount it, if I provide the materials, so it will sit in a display case for now.
The Oni Forge Medium Bushido katana is no longer available but this one is brand new. I haven't even wiped the shipping oil from the blade and I keep it wrapped in a sword bag. I may want to sell it at some point, so I haven't handled more than a couple of times. It's a beautiful katana.

And no, Robby, I forgot about the ko-kat, as well as the Claymore
Here's the Dynasty Forge 1060B ko-katana ( top )

and the Hanwei Claymore, heheh.

Some other swords in my collection include a Cheness Kaze, a Masahiro and a Kawashima Snowfall, among others.

If you shoot me a PM with your email, I will shoot you the price list of my mounter.

TRUST ME, it will be worth it ;)

Ugh, I have 5-6 weeks before I even get to see my Raw blade. I'm soooo stoked. Thanks for posting a close up brother!!! Is that his full polish?

No, that's just a smith's polish, which is nicer than it looks in the picture. heavy oil coating on it .

Well then, I guess we'll agree that if that's his smith polish then his full polish will look especially lovely!!! I'm glad I went with full. I suppose the smith polish would have been fine as well, it is beautiful.
