hi guys this the first one ive ever boughtit is real carbon steel
when when sub £100 carbon steel kats started replacing the shitty stainless steel ones a couple of years back i think i paid about £90 for it
its either a musashi or a masahiro i just cant remember which the thing is i
redid the saya as it was covered in a disgusting prussian blue laquer?
so i sanded it back to bare wood gave it 1 coat of sanding sealer sanded it back smooth now the fun starts a coat of colored varnish followed by sanding back followed by another coat followed by etc.etc.etc 6 coats in all wax polish on let it dry another coat of polish let it dry over night now the fun part a good buffing with a clean new duster and as you can see
it did turn out better than even i exspected well chuffed:ohyeah: you know i day i,ll learn how to use the macro facility on this camera

hi bobo/kk guys
the saya was done in a teak stained satin varnish with the end done with a piece of buffallo horn i pinched off one of those cheap indian made kuhkeries from the tourist trade the piece around the koiguchi is the oridginal the kurigata is also a piece of horn i made as the oridginal wood one had snapped hence the cheap price the relife on the tsuba was done in metalic silver for the flower petals the trunk and branches and worriors in metalic gold
the rest in satin black with two coats of clear satin varnish looks a treat
