here you go guys my new chen tea culture arrived today pics aint good but should give some idea of what its like
the battle wrap is somthing else and sharp? its better than a razor from the tip of the kissaki to where the blade
enters the habaki the hamon is one of the best ive seen in a long time the ito is a top quality suede leather
the sageo is some extra thick sageo bordering on the heavey duty type i belive the tsuba is blackend iron
not sure what the menuki are made of but are up to the usual chen standard i.e real nice rayskin is superb
as usual the saya is the normal high gloss black piano finish.

caliper hi every thing on that blade is as it should be even down to oridginal shipping grease and if you had owt to do with it it wouldnt

how often i throw the away or send them else where they allways seem to return to me weired really:celebration::celebration:
alltho one ive just recieved is a real beauty solid silver filligree work on the scabard instead of the usual black buffallo hide leather its done in red velvet the handle is bone the small knife and sharpener i.e chakmak and karda handles are deer antler all bolsters and but caps are solid silver and the small steel plate where the tang is peened over is steel posting pics in a moment
enjoy.

guys i know this is a sword forum but this is such a belter of a khukerie i had to show it heres the pics of my (dui chirra kothimoda khukerie)just to give some idea of scale the handle is a good 6 inches the two gold crossed khukeries ive been told are 9 carat gold
this style i belive is only made for members of the nepalese royal family or retiring british officers who have served in the ghurkers.
ps the third one down has the kami,s mark on it if any one can decipher it i,d appreacate it thanks

new info guys theres some more kuks arriving this friday that makes 5 since wensday one of which is a ghurka dui chirra similar to the red one
but with 225 grams of silver filigree work on it boy did i get a bargain with that one cant wait to show you guys the pics

well andy as with all chen swords those two are finished to the usual high chen standard so if your concidering either as a purchase go for it
you'll not regret either as an addition to your collection.

the sir william comes in two types damascus/ and polished down the central groove' the edges of both are ground sharpened finished even with the ground finish you can still see the damascus finish on the damascus finish version.
