If you're into the whole Tokyo Shock scene, then here is another film for your taste buds. All I have to say is that it's all in the title. GORE!!! Lots of it. It's of course a cheese gore film, but that's what I like. I'm a huge fan of horror and gore! There are some continuity issues, but that's always the case with gore films. There are some nice slice scenes with katana in hand and Eihi Shiina looks as beautiful as ever! The film plays out in a futuristic Japan, where mutants, if you will, run a muck. I'm not going to give away the synopsis, but lets just say Eihi Shiina's character Ruka kicks some serious heinie! If you're into a katana weilding gore fest, then I seriously urge you to see this film.

I gave this film a mention in the "Machine Girl " thread with what (I hope) was an adequate warning. A movie that certainly pushes the envelope..! KK

There aren't anymore envelopes.....lol...the envelope has been put threw the paper shredder. It kind of got shredded when the great Cronenberg was going strong though. Naked Lunch, Crash, Rabid......Mmmmm amazing grotesque film making. All just my opinion of course :)

Robby, you mention "naked lunch" Bill burroughs was a friend of mine. Use to go walleye fishing with him. Reality is stranger then fiction.

Wow, that's pretty sweet. Very in depth imagination that guy had. Sometimes I wonder if I could write a film/book as bizarre as that.

Use to help him with some of his "art projects" the shot gun series has my hand in it. Sitting in a boat with him and talking was a trip for sure. First time I ever used a blow gun was in his living room in the " stone house" in lawrence.

I bet it was a trip. Was he naturally bizarre, or drug induced?

He was just bizarre. His friends even more so!:flaming:I wish I was as lucky as you to pick his thoughts. I guess reality is only as real as you make it. At least that's the way I like to think.
