If you haven't seen this one you are missing out on a real treat. The scene is pre-revolution France. A creature is ravaging the countryside, killing and devouring people. The citizens believe it to be a wolf, but the damage done to the corpses is too great to be a wolf. Enter the protagonist and his American Indian friend. He has just returned from colonial America, is a Taxidermist among his other accomplishments and has been sent to investigate the strange happenings.
This is a highly entertaining movie, action, suspense, martial arts, and wimmen! It's available on DVD and it's in French with English subtitles and dubbed English whichever you prefer. get it and watch it....you won't be sorry.

I saw that and while I can't remember some of the details I do remember it was quite good. It was one of the few with it type of villains where i like how they were portrayed.

I remember the hard time I had finding this movie. (A long time ago) I went everywhere and was asking for Le Pacte Des Loups and people looked at me like I was a freak. I said I think it is called brotherhood of the wolf and they would say never heard of it. Some time later I found it in Circuit City and although it wasn't what I expected, it was great. Gotta love Mark Dacascus, great martial artist.

I saw it in theater as well and was blwon away... LOVED it. I own it now, tho it WAS hard to find, like Jason said. Took some digging. I ended up getting it off Ebay.
Sadly... it was released in HD, but NOT in BluRay... i would LOVE to have this one on BluRay to enjoy on my 64 inch HD TV... YUMMY!
Maybe they will re-release it someday.
